Fun with Family in North Carolina

We spent the first week of August in North Carolina with my family. We had a wonderful time and already miss everyone so much.

Friends Reunited :) Me, Eric, Melissa, and Jeff
It was like old times again...the four of us hanging out. We were enjoying the sun and the sand at Topsail Beach. Eric and Jeff even tried to do a little surfing.

Me and My Sister
My sister and her fiance Daniel took us out on the boat one morning. Eric did a little inter tubing.(see video)

Me and Eric on the boat.

Heather and Daniel

Another big event during our visit was the wedding of my cousin Jessica. Congratulations Jessica and Adam!!!
Check out some pictures from the reception. And don't forget to look at the video of my Dad and grandmother dancing the "jitter bug" :)

Me with my cousin Amanda and friend Allison...we all lived together in college. It was neat to all three be together again.

My Dad and his mother, Granny Frances.

BABY SHOWER!!! Thank you Mom, Granny, Heather and Aunt Linon for the amazing baby shower. Also a special thanks to all the men that made it happen...Dad and Daniel.
We decided to use the baby shower as an opportunity to start Baby Hass's library. We received so many good books. We will cherish the words of love that were written in the front cover of each book from all of our family. We received so many special gifts and are so grateful to be blessed with such an amazing family.

My first time meeting my little cousin O'Neal. He and Leasel were visiting from Pennsylvania.

Me and Candis. Best friends from High School!
Candis is due at the end of this month. She will be having a little boy.

Me and My Sister!! Soon to be "the best aunt in the world".

Eric, Me, Dad, and Mom

Our trip came to an end a little too fast. Eric flew back on Monday and I stayed through Thursday...the pictures below were taken the day my family took me to the airport. Me and Mom had lunch with both my grandmothers. What a treat.

What fun pictures! Looks like an awesome trip. :) I love the baby-book-shower idea. That's awesome! (especially since you had to fly back with all those treasures. A normal shower would've been tough.)

Hooray for blogging! It's wonderful to keep in touch this way. :)

Your Dad sure has some moves!!! How fun! Is he where YOU get it from? Because I vividly remember you tearing it up at my wedding! I'm so glad you had a great trip home! You deserve it!
